  5.                                  still going strong. Karch is 
  6. the best volleyball player ever to come out of 
  7. the United States. He led the U.S. team to 
  8. gold medals in the 1984 and 1988 Olympics. 
  9. He and his partner, Kent Steffes, then 
  10. became stars of the professional two-man
  11. beach-volleyball circuit, which became 
  12. popular in the 1990ΓÇÖs. It will be a medal sport
  13. at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta,
  14. Georgia.

  17. ball player, and he pushed his son to 
  18. excel at volleyball and in the classroom.
